Kintsugi
The ancient Japanese practice of mending broken ceramics with gold. For traditional repair, I usually work with gold leaf of 23 karat and above. For modern repair, I use a selection of gold powders to suit your budget. In addition to ceramics, I welcome unusual kintsugi repair commissions. Using kintsugi techniques, I replace the traditional kintsugi gold with glitters, holographic or iridescent micas, giving you a range of upbeat and striking repair outcomes. I developed this on the festival circuit and, to my knowledge, I am the only person offering this service.
